For the 2024 Belgian municipal elections, we partnered with Bruxelles Pouvoirs Locaux to create an awareness video aimed at motivating young people to vote. This initiative highlighted not only the importance of elections and the right to vote but also the civic duty that comes with it.

Our target audience, aged 16 to 27, is often perceived as uninterested in politics. However, this is far from the truth. Young people—past, present, and future—care about the world around them. The challenge lies not in their lack of interest, but rather in the lack of accessible information about where decisions are made and who makes them.

That is why we created this video: to show young voters the direct impact of municipal elections on their daily lives. To make the message relevant, we focused on key topics that matter most to them, such as:

  • Mobility (public transport, bike lanes, road renovations)
  • Safety (police presence in the streets)
  • Housing (affordable housing solutions)
  • Public infrastructure (building a new swimming pool, improving sidewalks)
  • Environmental concerns (tree preservation, green spaces)

And much more.

Through this initiative, we aimed to bridge the gap between young people and local politics, empowering them to make informed choices that shape their communities. Because voting is not just a right—it’s a powerful tool for change.
