Do you want to make a real impact on young people in Belgium? Do you believe that democracy is something to learn and live from an early age? Then this opportunity is for you!
CIVIX Belgium is looking for dynamic and motivated volunteers to co-lead interactive workshops on the Belgian political system and disinformation in secondary school classrooms (grades 9 to 12) across the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
Your Role
Together with another volunteer, you’ll visit schools to engage students in fun, accessible and meaningful workshops. Through games, discussions, and role-playing, you’ll help young people understand how our democracy works and develop critical thinking skills to navigate disinformation.
What We’re Looking For:
- You have completed secondary school and are currently in higher education or under 27 years old.
- You're comfortable speaking in front of groups, curious, creative, and enjoy working as a team.
- You want to make a difference by educating young people about key issues related to democracy.
- You’re available a few times per month during weekdays, based on your schedule.
